For the Civil Wrongs podcast, Izzy Reeves and I collaborated on the script for the first episode. With the rest of our group, we traveled down to Elaine, Arkansas to learn more about the effects of the Massacre on the town. The delapadated Elaine did not have a stable fire department and struggled with access to clean water. Despite the silence that plagued Elaine, Mayor Lisa Gillbert hopes to educate her constituents and transform Elaine.
